Ci torno sicuramente!!! For us it's a nice lake because we live close by. But the shore is to steep and the gravel is painful on the feet. Water is okay but it's often cold and windy. You can jump from under the bridge which is cool. Not very crowded at all. Great to see it full and back to it’s best, after some snow last winter and a rainy Spring. This place is amazing. an evening swim in the lake is one of the most relaxing experiences I ever had. the local restaurants are really good. we went to the 'C'era una volta' restaurant and had the most amazing dinner. There are beautiful walks that can take you at the top of the mountain with amazing views. it's only 30' driving to Finale Ligure if you want to go to the sea. the villagers are very friendly. I've heard it's named ' La perla della Val Bormida'(the pearl of Bormida's valley and I understand why. I really recommend this place for a relaxing, naturalistic experience. will go again and again...
