Plentiful free parking, loads of great places to eat and drink. Great vessels to look at in the water and a market is on some days. Very pleasant atmosphere and a slightly upmarket feel. Worth stopping for. Very nice large marina surrounded on one side with bars and restaurants. Nice to just sit on a bench watching the world go by and the different boats coming and going. Nice place for lunch or drinks and stop to see the boats. The marina is large and almost at capacity with local boats, there’s some space for transients. We spent a few nights on the super yacht dock. There’s plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, there’s no reason really to leave the marina. Just another marina, with some shops and restaurants that one might expect in such an area. The bonus here is that it is not all too touristy (unlike costa blanca for instance) Really enjoyed Puerto Calero Marnia, just a quick visit and good value for your money We've been visiting the Marina for many years, drawn back by the lovely atmosphere and great selection of places to eat with something for every taste. We also enjoy wandering round looking at the boats and spotting fish in the clear water. The shopping street is looking a bit worse for wear, with many empty units, but there is a small supermarket and a gift shop, both of which are going strong. What a lovely marina… pedestrian area with over 20 restaurants and bars, Tuesday is market day so some interesting stalls to view. Great place to chill out and people watch.
