Toilets and small gift shop too. Here you can your car and take the public bus to do the volcano tour, is about an hour. Also there is a restaurant where you can eat food cooked on the ground Great that you can access this place for free. Sadly there's where the good news ends. There seems to be no English available for this museum. Everything was in Spanish, which really limits what you can learn. The museum felt like it's been left in the past, none of the interactive buttons worked or did anything. There was just information around volcanos and not much else. It would have been cool to see items from the 1700-1800s eruptions and peoples reactions from the period. The whole place just needs modernising sadly. came here on a coach tour and could not have been happier. the most incredible views and history and the whole experience was unforgettable. real demonstrations of geysers and volcanic erruptions and a generally beautiful place. such a rich history with so much to learn and see. one of the best experiences of the holiday and we enjoyed every bit of it. WC on the spot, plenty of parking spaces, free entry, interesting walk through lava fields. Overall 30 mins quick stop on the way from Timanfaya national Well worth visiting before heading up to the park, lots of information to take in, viewing point and extremely helpful and friendly staff Quite expensive at €20 per person. On arrival there was no signage explaining what to do or what your ticket included. We figured that out by asking in the shop and boarded a coach for the 35 minute tour. The commentary was recorded in Spanish, German and English, with online commentary also available online via the free app, wh8ch also offered Italian and Dutch. The coach stopped in key places for photographs and the views were stunning. Many opportunities were lost though as there was no chance to ask questions or to understand better why there were so many different types of landscape, how they were formed, etc. The demonstrations of underground heat were impressive to see, but very busy (standing four people deep) and short-lived. It had the feel of production line tourism. Impersonal, limited educational value, rushed and not great value for money. Impressive! To get there was a struggle. There is not much parking space so that led to a traffic jam. Once you can your car you get in a touring bus to drive through the park. If you are scared of Heights, this might not be for you. Beautiful craters an to top it off in the restaurant they grill the chicken on a lava well. Amazing place, parking a bit chaotic, especially with buses, cars and pedestrians all using the same road. Can understand the 90 minute wait to enter. Lots of the reviews here are for the Parque Nacional de Timanfaya and not the Centro de visitantes e interpretación de Timanfaya which is free to enter and no queues, car is on the small side, but very interesting in side and there's a walk way across the Lava field.
