Camping Municipal / Auberge de Jeunesse de Saint-Quentin

Saint-Quentin, France Camping cabin

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Municipal Campsite and Youth Hostel. A good walk away from the town centre. Adequate facilities, best pitches for wi-fi are on the right near the gate. Staff very helpful. A warm welcome from very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities are simple but kept clean and tidy. Some pitches have their own tap and grey water disposal as well as electricity connection. It was quiet during our stay in September 21. It is a 10 minute cycle ride, along a good cycle path, to the town centre. Arrived here for our first day after travelling from Lincoln all night. Great. Had to loose 1⭐️ as, despite most people from England, chap in Reception could not speak one word, to me, in English😲. My basic French was fluent compared to his English🤭. Would I employ someone in the hospitality industry who would not try and learn a few basic sentences for, probably a large percentage of his clients. The pitches are pretty basic but a good size and, fantastically, they all seemed to be serviced. A great price at €18.40 a night, with electric. Probably £40 at a caravan and motorhome site at home. Unfortunately, the chap in Reception, no English and could not give me any information on where to bike. However, canal outside site and, other campers informed me where to go to get on🤗. At the very least, Reception should have something printed out in English. Had a wonder day after staying an extra night. Off tomorrow to Chalons en Champagne. Would absolutely recommend this site for location. Stayed for one night with camper van , big spacious quiet site , friendly manager and clean showers with lots of hot water , just what we wanted and such a great price , thank you Saint Quentin Charming municipal camping. Clean bathroom, warm water 24h. Not to much shady places for a camper. Lots of green grass and also trees for your tent. Clean water tap at personal place. Park on half an h walking distance - for food and outdoor activity for the whole family - beautifull amazing cathedral in town center - also half h. walk. Complete new swimming pool next door! Most clean, bright and shiny pool ever experianced.!! Very good value. Good place to stop if you are heading south from Calais/Dunkirk. Do go to the city centre for a coffee. The audacity of Johnny Foreigner, not speaking "a word of English". How very dare they? And, if I happen to be from Turkmenistan, I expect them to speak my language as well, and German, and Dutch, and . . . . . Exactly like in England, when they have a French guest, the staff are always ready to switch to French. Yeah, right. Please get a life and stop marking down these marvellous campsites simply because you can't speak their lingo but you expect them to be fluent in yours. We lost the Empire several years ago now. Good camp site with lots of space. Reception really helpful. We walked into town which took about 25mins but worth it. Well kept and clean facilities Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
