Really easy to get to, nice and quiet, with a pleasant sound from the river that passes by. We got there around 4pm and there was plenty of space, 2 hours later it was full. Most people seemed to only be staying the 1 night like us. It was easy to find and the facilities were really clean and nice. 10kr for a 5 minute shower. The only confusing thing was the check-in process, which involved calling a phone number, then picking a spot and waiting for the manager to eventually come around with a credit card machine and we paid and that was that. All round a really pleasant spot. The receptionist (owner?) was not the friendliest person on earth. I felt like every question was too much for her and she felt bored. The camping side is super „rough / uneven“, the shower machine gave me just 5 minutes hot water, even tough I put in 2 coins (shower costs extra 5 minutes 10 nok). And in the bathroom there is no plug for the hair dryer, I needed to go in the washing house to dry my hair and there is no hair dryer they provide. Therefore the price was absolutely too much, 320 nok + 40 nok to shower for 2 people. And everything (washing room, shower room..) looks old and not very clean. Oh and WiFi signal doesn‘t work when you camp not in front of the house. Not a pleasant experience. The staff wasn’t so friendly, the reception was closed and needed to call the staff all the time. The communication was very poor. I never received the reply for inquiries through mail. The website is poorly maintained. There is a picture of a cabin to select in the website but when I arrived at the campsite, the staff told me that I had actually booked a camping place only. Then had to book a family cabin which was expensive. The cabins are too old for that price. However, the location is ideal, just by E6 with a grocery shop in the surrounding. I wouldn’t recommend unless you have an emergency. There are better campsites nearby. A strange campsite. The reception was only open in the evening between nine and ten. The electrical plugs are really old, but luckily they work. The showers are coin operated (which we had to get from reception). The kitchen facilities are really small. Shop right next to the area. Had the best experience at this camping camp, super clean, great staff and good vibes! Would absolutely recommend this place.
