The owners are indeed seniors, but are perfectly able to communicate with guests in English. The bathroom facilities are old and tired, but perfrctly functional and immaculately clean. The location is great and very convenient. So, take our advice and use Fauske Camping as a pleasant and convenient stopover. Take the whining and moaning comments with a big pinch of salt. Rented cabin could use some renovation. mattresses felt damp. Showers are good. English of staff lacking so difficult to communicate if you don't speak Norwegian. Camping area looked clean and nice. Cheap rooms, our room was a bit old but perfectly functional, clean and the "oldness" made it rather cosy. Service was fine, younger guy with good English but didn't say all the info we would've wanted, we had to go back to ask about wifi. Location is in my opinion good but be prepared for road noise, it's very close to the highway but nothing unbearable.
