We stayed at the hotel a couple of nights. It was like a small house with common areas and rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. The and vineyards are gorgeous. Their restaurant is absolutely delicious. I loved their wines since before staying there, that was the reason I chose the hotel and it was perfect to just enjoy beautiful views, drink amazing and have food. We went horseback riding through the vineyards, had a picnic and also did yoga outside. I have just trird two wines from this (Aglianico Rubrato: red & Greco di Tufo: white wine). The red was ok but not something fantastic however the white (Greco di Tofu) was really rich in texture, with notes of apple and pear, off-dry and peppery and medium bodied so I would say a wine. Feudi di San Gregorio became one of my favorite wineries and for sure I will try the other wines. Amazing food and amazing service! The wines are also great! Incredible experience. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a comfortable seat and a glass of wine. It was a welcome respite from a long overseas flight. They were able to accommodate us for which was by far the best we had our enter trip. We had a relaxing lunch, a in the grounds filled with art, gardens and active harvesting. We retired that evening thinking there was no better way to begin our travels in the region. The next night, we had reservations for which was a truly special experience. There was a popular football match that night and everyone was at the game. When we sat down, we realized were the only diners in the restaurant. Thinking back, they could have/should have cancelled our reservation and asked us to rebook. Instead they stayed open and served us what was one of the most memorable evenings of my life. Each morning we would wake up and take the short past the vineyards, to the main building. You could witness the harvesting operation in progress. The breakfast was every bit as good as the and dinner. Our stay at Feudi was a memorable we will never forget. Despite heavy rain and arriving quite late to the Feudi di San Gregorio winery, we were warmly welcomed by Ida, our guide and sommelier, whose grace, professionalism, and genuine interest in our were immediately evident. She initiated the tour without hesitation, making us feel instantly at ease. Ida’s impeccable English, deep knowledge of the winery, and thoughtful responses to every question we asked—combined with her well-mannered and engaging personality—made the tour an unforgettable experience. The tasting that followed was equally extraordinary. I am truly grateful for Ida’s dedication, warmth, and willingness to share her passion and knowledge with us. As for the itself: the wines are simply exceptional—far beyond what we had anticipated—and the architectural design of the estate building is stunning. It’s no wonder we insisted on visiting, even in such poor weather conditions. We wholeheartedly thank Ida and highly recommend this visit.
