It's quite expensive for the amount of issues. The public wellness is overcrowded and if the guys are not talking incredibly loud in the saunas, they are staring like there ain't no tomorrow. It's very uncomfortable for a woman to relax here and all the talking is making it even worse. The classes in the gym are not very well divided. Mostly they are fully booked and there's not much consistency. The Yoga and pilates classes are only twice a week on times that are for most not manageable (during the working day or early in the morning). Having a good mix of fat burning and relaxing low impact training classes would completely up the value of this service. This topic has been brought up to the teachers several times, but I don't know if there are any changes coming soon? The woman's in the gym is nice, quiet and very relaxing, however there's only one cold shower and the waiting lines are always very long. The other showers are so bad that everybody needs to wait for the one good shower. The slides at the are freakin' awesome!! I really liked this place before some weird manager came along and started to shout and talk to me like I came to his own house with out asking, trying to throw me out of a woman changing room because it was ten minutes late after closing hours. Why must man freak out woman like that? He really seemed on periods or on drugs. He tried to get me out so hard but I knew that there was still group of hockey players inside. I took abonnement for one month to try but after that dude I never had even mood to go there… really bad and no reason to show this disrespectful behavior to anyone especially who are not from this country. But it’s usual thing here in Belgium as I see… never felt any respect when I talk English. Really weird thing. And impolite people. Full today .excellent job os security keeping order. Many with no manners or no brain. But the employees ,10/10 I have been using the pass at Sportoase for more than a year. I mainly use the gym and the sauna, because that's what I expected. I am writing now only about the gym, because as for the I have no objections. The women's at the gym has been in a reprehensible state since I remember. I reported it repeatedly, unfortunately without any response. And each time it got worse and worse. The employee assured me that the manager would contact me today, which did not happen. The women's at the gym is in a state of MISERABLE CRITICISM. Where is the hygiene inspection? Does Sportoase have the health and lives of its female clients for nothing? Body fluids are etched into the wood along with oils (?), period blood (?), and God knows what else. Due to such reprehensible behavior, disrespect for female customers and lack of listening to their needs and NO ATTENTION TO HYGENE AND HEALTH, I am forced to report this to the appropriate services and I demand returning costs for the subscription. Disgusting! Rude staff. Only in town for the weekend. Tight swimwear for hygienic reasons. I get it. Offered to stay out of the water, just let me watch my daughter since we already paid and are inside. Coming from the lifeguard that has loose shorts himself! Such a hypocritical thing to say. Bad experience, pity... Infrastructure is ok. The cold plunge is usually very dirty. The are nice but not enough, especially at the entrance it takes ages to buy a ticket. The opening hours say untill 10pm but outside and slides close at 8pm. Normally this is my favourite place to enjoy with kids or do sports myself (especially swimming in the "a bit" cool water of the big pool, perfect temperature in my opinion!). The is very kind and helpful. But the management should take strict measures to find a solution for groups who come there for anything other than sports or fun. There are often groups (especially young boys, but could be any other too) who gather together in the and use it like a playground (and as if they are 5 year-oldl!!). They don't swim, are often just there to disturb others. They also use the changing rooms harshly, smashing the doors, yelling at each other (they think they are "speaking") and leaving behind dirty. Maybe certain rules should be considered as it has been the case for many times in the last year! Except this, it's a great place. The sauna's are pretty nice, but there's not much more to do beside the slides. Overall ok but definitely not my favourite to go to. You guys need to urgently control the saunas. It's full of annoying making sounds and behaving like primal animals. Why don't you emphasize that should be calm and try to be silent. Maybe put some "undercover" security in there sometimes to remove the bad ones. Because now just feel awkward in there and have to listen to loads of crap. Swimming is infested with strange geezers, I don't know where they get the money from but ok. That's not really the fault of Sportoase. Therefore perhaps a higher price would solve a lot of inbreds coming to swim. Nice ice, but it's pretty small and a lot of people. Most of the time when it's crowdy the most interesting part it's kids which are trying to figure skating. You have to be careful trying avoid them and learn how to brake. Good luck 🤞🏻 Pros- Great pool, friendly staff. Cons - often groups of men hanging in the sports (not swimming). Children sitting on the lane ropes nearly every time (never hear a whistle). No organisation or discipline in the sports lanes. (Only one fast lane open if you are lucky and normally overcrowded) implementing a swim cap or goggle requirement would be an easy fix.
