A place to feel like a local, and eat like one The food was good (tomatoes soup and szarlotka) Reasonably good food and low prices. Very pleasant interior. Friendly service. We will definitely be back and hope to be able to give five stars next time. Addition We went back a few times and every time something was not ok. Finally we got poorly prepared food at our last visit, explained this to the owner, who was fairly rude and not open to any sort of critics, and never came back. Karczma Zaborów has thus been deleted from our list. Damn. It was fun! Great food, great drinks and great company. How often you can wine and dine with the owner of the place who treats you like a guest of honour and makes you feel so wlecomed? Coming from India I always wanted to try polish cuisine and every dish I tried made me fall in Love with food. I tried Flaki, Bigos, Placki ziemniaczane, and Kompot — every dish was full of flavor and perfectly made. The Flaki was rich and warming, Bigos was hearty and full of smoky flavors, and the potato pancakes were crispy and just perfect. The Kompot added a refreshing, homemade touch to the meal. The quality of the food is exceptional. The prices are also very reasonable for the generous quantity you get.
