Large and well maintained complex. 3 of the 7 sauna's are spread across the large but secluded garden with several pools and lots of space to relax. Food and drinks are very tasty as well. Given the context of course not the cheapest but well worth the money. Easy to spend a whole day of relaxation here. A very friendly place with great and ample food, terrific aufguss sessions and enough facilities to spend a relaxing time. Bambi the cat, who lives in the sleeping room, joined me when I took a nap. Perfection. I used to come here almost weekly and though the wellness and offer of facilities is still great, the kitchen has become a big disappointment. It was one of the rare places you really had healthy balanced meals wether you are a vegetarian or not (I Am) , but now it’s clear the menu is chosen by someone who has no clue and I might find something vegetarian but not necessarily healthy. Last I got a salad swimming in overprocessed mayonnaise. I just couldn’t finish that. So now I rather eat before or after my visit which is annoying as I used to go straight after work. Yesterday, I enjoyed a fantastic tailor-made massage by Erwin. He took his to make sure my body was totally relax due to his professional skills - passion & perseverance. Next it will be difficult not to book another massage. They do a good job of making you feel relaxed, the restaurant prices however are almost criminal. Good sauna, warm bath. Just the drinking is not enough inside. Since it is not allowed to bring your own water, then you should at least prepare more drinking inside. There is only one tap for drinking water, which is also not comfortable to use. Update: My review was corrected by the owner that they have 2 drinking spots. Unfortunately it doesn’t make a difference. 2 drinking spots is totally not enough for such a big facilities. Even an empty bottle is not allowed to be taken inside. I remove one star. Really nice place to relax and enjoy many options. Restaurant food was also very good, however on the options available to choose from for main course, are quite limited. Overall very happy. Wellness with the best ambience I've been in so far. Food in the restaurant is very good. This is one of the best saunas around! Definitely the best in Belgium and new additions are coming! The evening rates are great and they start from 6pm. Usually at the start of the week it's very quiet in the evenings, so if you're a bit shy that's the best moment to go. The weekends are always packed, so if you don't like squeezing in between naked people for a seat at a steam session you shouldn't go. The restaurant service and personnel at the restaurant are amazing. The preparation of the dishes are great! Even the more complex dishes are really well done and you get a lot of food! I go there every week! You can count on the food and the cocktails! Always a Perfect Experience! I visited Katara yesterday for the fourth time, and as always, it was perfect. The staff is great, and the whole place is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The restaurant service is top-notch—five stars for the quality, pricing, and quick delivery. The sessions were fantastic, especially in the evening with saunameester Koen. He truly goes the extra mile to make the experience special. Five stars for him and for the person managing this amazing spa complex. Highly recommended! I returned to Katara again recently, and just like every before, it was an outstanding experience. Everything is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly organized. It’s clear that the person managing this spa is a true perfectionist—every detail is thought through, and the result is a consistently high-quality experience. Compliments and sincere thanks to them.
