Arrivando dalla sila, cercavano una bella spiaggia vicina per passare una domenica (luglio 2025) al mare. Pochi km a nord di Crotone, avvicinandoci al mare ci siamo fermati nella spiaggia libera a fianco al lido El Sombrero. La spiaggia è molto grande, poco affollata e il mare limpido. Pur non pagando l'ingresso al lido, abbiamo potuto parcheggiare per pochi euro all' ombra e abbiamo usato gratuitamente i servizi del lido (bagni, cabina per cambiarci, doccia). Gestori gentilissimi. Anche i prezzi degli ombrelloni sono onesti. Insomma, consigliato. Top Molto pulito e gestore molto disponibile. Consigliatissimo. House very clean and the managers are just amazing. Beach is max. 100m away and services are 5 stars. Dit is geen aanrader. Het stand op zich is prima, maar oordeel zelf maar aan de hand van de foto's... Veel rommel en weinig onderhouden. We moesten 80 km rijden en dit hebben we gedaan, omdat de reviews veelbelovend waren. Dit bleek bij aankomst een teleurstelling. 2 sterren omdat het strand redeijk was en er een bananenboompje was. Visited this port on a Viking Cruise and found this beach on Google and decided to give it a try. We had an awesome time - great beach with umbrellas and chairs. The people here are what made the difference though - the owners were amazing and so accommodating!!! Would do visit here again and again. Lido fantastico, un angolo di paradiso a nord di crotone, siamo stati accolti col sorriso e trattati alla grande, e Alessia ci ha fatto un panino espresso alle 4 di pomeriggio che era semplicemente poesia! Torneremo sicuro.💞 Nach einer Woche in Crotone haben wir heute den Strand Lido El Sombrero besucht. Ein sehr schöner, gepflegter und sauberer Strand ohne Zigarettenkippen und Plastik wie in Crotone. Feiner Sand und klares Wasser, sehr nettes und freundliches Personal und liebevoller Besitzer. Die Gebühren für Parkplatz, Liegen und Schirm günstiger als in Crotone. Sehr empfehlenswert.
