Big car park, pay via Ringo about £7 for the day. Once you get away from the busier areas it Is lovely and peaceful. On misty days the Reservoir is very tranquil and magical. An awesome day out on the bikes for young ones. The 13 mile, round track is doable by pretty much any level of fitness. There's very few hills. They rate the ride as 3 hours. It took 3 of us (10yo, 12yo and fat dad) just over 2. We had a nice stop at the café for coffee and ice creams which were reasonably priced. The views were delightful and it made us feel close to nature. We started early and passed very few other cyclists and walkers. The signposting is very clear, you will not need a map. There's lots of other activities going on at the such as aqua park, rowing and sailing. A lovely with plenty of uplifting views. A great day out for those who want to blow away the cobwebs. In terms of access for those with mobility issues, the route would be challenging. I would say contact the centre and get some advice before arriving. Parking : lots of it and costs £6 for the day. Facilities :Waterfront cafe open Monday to Friday - 10am - 3pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4pm. It has toilets etc. I definately intend to go back soon. Beautiful and peaceful place, close to nature for walks, water sports and cycling. They have a nice waterfront cafe and many other activities to do. Weekday £5 parking, good. Used facilities before 12 mile walk. However, shame couldn't use the cafe, as it closed at 3pm! Good though. Lovely spot - headed here for a dog walk. It was hard to find the start of the from the car park, and we ended up going anti-clockwise which was potentially wrong, but we got there! Lovely trail around the for bikes and walkers, very peaceful and green Bewl Water is stunning! We walked the perimeter and everywhere we looked there were incredible views and beautiful spots to sit and picnic. There were a lot of cyclists coming from both ways and it got a little much at times as we were expected to move of the path rather than them go around us. We had a disabled child in a buggy which made moving more difficult for us so this may not be an issue for others. The cafe was under stocked and over priced and the toilets were foul. But the actual made up for it. If walking take your comfiest shoes and if you are going in summer don't think twice about going in your cool sports gear... everyone was dressed in sportswear and I was in jeans and was way too hot! Highly Recommended Place of Natural Beauty x Lovely spot to walk. Would recommend during school holidays to go early morning as it can get busy as there are lots of activities, water sports, biking etc 🙂 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
