Baker Hansen

Drammen, Norway Bakery

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. I have high standards for my coffee and pastries. Baker Hansen, conveniently located just a minute from the train station in Drammen, answer my expectations in every way. This is a Norwegian institution, and well, it lives up to its reputation. Clean, variety, fair taste and pricing, but nothing extraordinary. Customers group is from teens to families to retired folks. From the moment you stepped inside, you are greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly baked goods and the quiet atmosphere. The extensive selection of products on offer was staggering, with everything from classic breads and pastries to an impressive array of sandwiches, salads, and cakes. Coffee is good, expertly brewed from high-quality beans. And the best part? It's priced very reasonably, making it an affordable luxury for any budget. For those with dietary restrictions, never fear - Baker Hansen offers a wide range of gluten-free options, including delicious bread and cookies that look just as tasty as their gluten-containing counterparts. I didn't try, I am not allergic to anything. Whether you're a local or just passing through Drammen, Baker Hansen is a safe bet. Its convenient location, astounding selection, and dedication to quality make it a standout among bakeries. Convenient location if you’re taking the bus/train. It has a nice interior but the service and food was lacking. The muesli bun was okay, and the coffee was mediocre. The coffee was in a press can and the milk was in an open pitcher for self-service. Half the food items were sold out (on a Sunday afternoon), and the worker was unfriendly. Will not be returning to this location unless absolutely necessary. Baker Hansen St. Hallvard is a bakery located right by the central train station. It is nicely decorated and has multiple seating areas. The bakery has a large variety of baked goods and sandwiches. The staff were friendly and helpful. I tried the cinnamon bun and hot chocolate, both which were very good. I would definitely recommend trying this bakery. Good ambiance, decent price and delicious food and coffee. Also has sockets for a quick phone charging if you need it! Year 1861 and a bakery that impress me to feel the history of a century. Take a coffe and relax. It is worth to salubrate 125 yers excellence. First day in Norway and I stumbled into this bakery. Great chai tea and the apple muffin was so good I got another to take with me! Rude Asian lady. I drink chai latte at the different locations so I came here ask for power version and instead of maybe explain me “oh we don’t have that version in this location” or give me a chance to canceles she proceed to almost scream WE ONLY HAVE THIS .. and do it and just handed to me. Please be nice to customers. I just came to enjoy the tiny glimpse of the sun before winter grab a warm drink not to get your bad actitud. Highly rude staff and especially the Asian ladies. They don’t speak with respect and their service is so bad. I was there today for a cup of coffee on to go and the Asian lady was intensely rude with me and my husband. she answered me screaming with loud voice. will never come back here. PS this is not the first time. Highly rude staff! Lady working today was intensly rude. I asked could i pick up the package from ToGoodToGo 5 minutes earlier, because i have a train - she answered me screaming with loud voice so anyone could hear her, that no there is no chance for it and that this is not the rule, i agree and undarstand, but i will never come back to this place again, out of fear.. Honestly. Cocoa was a bit underwhelming but fairly tasty, 8 kr extra for cream on top that was from a can, but the atmosphere is great, clean, beautiful interior with a good spot next to the train station Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
