We visited after 6pm, this appeared to be outside of the displayed opening hours, but we respectfully snuck inside for a quick peek during mass 👌🏻 N.b you enter up a ramp, either side of the cathedral. Very nice spot atop hilly Piazza Armerina. One of the quaintest villages in Sicily. The way up to this place is demanding but worth it, nice cobbled narrow streets, unfortunately cars are still allowed. It's a long walk to the from town but the views are fantastic. There's a little bar there too which helps. Nice Beautiful and we were lucky enough to visit while it was being decorated with flowers for a wedding in an hours time. Has such a rich history.
