Nice place in Vrieselhof park, after a walk one can sit on the terrace with sight on the castle. Inside is also lovely. Before or after a walk in the surrounding park, good place for a drink or lunch. Wait wait wait wait, after 20 minutes I decided to get our drinks ourselves. And then I get scolded because I'm "doing their job". Well, someone has to. And then they dare charge €6 for a coffee and a water. The worst coffee I've had in Belgium. The service was awkward Very friendly staff and clearly dog lovers! Very good hot chocolate 🥰.. also a very good service.. They were very kind.. Stopped here for dinner after our walk. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The steak was perfectly cooked to preference and tasted great! Fries were good, nice and crunchy. All ingredients seemed fresh. The only nitpicking I have is that there was some dirt on the bottom of the salad. (Probably left over from rinsing fresh salad). And I did feel that for paid mayonnaise, the portion you got was quite small. (Looks bigger than it was on the picture) Nice surroundings, poor/chaotic service. 30 minutes until we could order a drink.
