The Marine Lake is an excellent, safe, enclosed saltwater facility ideal for watersports like sailing and windsurfing. Whilst it has changed the face of the front it has provided much seating and is a very pleasing shape and design, though with less access points to the walkway for obvious reasons. The only negative is the slight sloping camber on the pathway which is quite hard for anyone with a walker to use. Great around the marina with the sea on one side with the tide coming in and an expanse of still water the other side of the walkway. Great to see a one way system in place from North to South. Apparently lifeguards patrol on jet ski at high tide as the water occasionally comes up over the walkway and it is possible to be stranded. Always a treat ...the lake was like glass today and I regularly feed a seagull by hand ...I'm not sure if it's the same one but it sure looks like Great around the lake with my wife, brisk wind but really enjoyable, free parking along the one way road binus. Only issue was the amount of dog crap left by irresponsible dog owners, you say you care about your dogs, well care about the environment and other walkers out enjoying the area--- Clean up your dogs mess!!!!! As someone who has lived/visited England a lot, this is one of my favorite parts. I dont know how to describe it, but its truly a magical experience. I can breathe when im here and go on a with those I care about.
