Seared on the outside, warm juicy and pink inside. Soft and tender. Perfect. Well done Chef!!! Great starter with local horse radish, wonderful. Garlic mousse, terrific flavours. 2 soups, clear flavourful broth and a rich creamy asparagus soup. Delightful. Very interesting sorbet floating in a glass of local sparkling wine. Light & delicious. Hot buffet of mains, tasty as always, Snitzel, sea trout fillets, fillet steak, home made potatoe fries, crispy mash potato patties, seasonal veg. And a great selection side salads, 10 different. Coleslaw, potato and ham, cucumber , carrot & raisin, bean, mixed veg. Desserts too many to describe but the black forest gateaux, strawberry torte and pineapple torte went down well with great coffee. Local red and white wines complemented the food perfectly. I had a new product local fizzy herb drink Krauter Kracherl ,made by Kinley, coke cola. Clean smooth taste. I'd have it again. Try the place, you wont be disappointed. Lovely Wedding Location. EXPERIENCE FROM MARRIAGE LOCATION - nice from the in- and the outside; INSIDE - light colours inside - good for decoration; - huge room for tables (for about 100 guests); - bar inside; - dance floor, connected to eating room; - dance floor with stage for musicians; - TOILETS ARE IMPROVABLE (look and smell) AND SOAP DISPENSERS SHOULD BE CAREFULKY FIXED ON THE WALL AND BE REFILLED IN TIME! - toilet for handicapped people and changing room for babies available; - toilet for handicapped people had no soap dispenser; OUTSIDE - green almost everywhere; - party tent available (in case of rain); - much space for games; - miniplayground for kids - too far away to carefully watch the kids and not secured though; - goulash served by the in the garden at midnight; - good food served for dinner; - helpful regarding food allergies / intolerances or special food- / drink requests. STAFF - utmostly friendly; - did everything to serve well; - made almost all wishes come true; - quick, fun, friendly, competent, polite and attentive. !!! ARRIVAL !!! - far away from church - one needs to book a bus transfer (10 minutes ride); - not arrivable with usual public transport! - moreover: no connection to the town itself on sundays (neither arrival nor departure); - very bad connections with public transport on saturdays. !!! PARTNER HOTEL "GIP" !!! - dirty rooms; - dust on floor; - insist on booking confirmation, because risk that reservation is forgotten!! - breakfast is small, pork meat only, no lactose free cheese (but milk), no specials, just mediocre; - friendly. We celebrated our wedding on 2.7.2017 there and it was just perfect! All the guests loved the location as well as we did when we saw it first time :) The is a dream team! Thank you all for our amazing day! Beautiful event venue, a 2 hour drive from Vienna, in this case for a wedding held in lovely grounds. Had the weather not been good the ceremony would have been held inside instead. Chalets were very comfortable. Food and drinks were excellent. Had a wonderful stay at this property. Beautiful views over the vineyards and a sauna for guests available. Well equipped with a playground for kids and a good breakfast buffer included. We will definitely return. ⸻ I was truly impressed with this location. There are hotels within the complex, which makes it ideal for events or parties that go late into the night — since most of the hotel guests are actually attending the event themselves. The are great, and the food is also very good. I would definitely recommend this place!
