All Landzeit restaurants are expensive, but one tends to forget about it, as the food is good and there is a wide selection of it. Not here, though...I ordered dumplings with a creamy mushroom sauce. It tasted as if it was made of some cheap powdered instant dish. I found big, dry and hard pieces of some seasoning in the sauce. The Hungarian staff was nice but the Austrian cashier looked bored and unfriendly. Ice coffee (same as in grocery store) costs 6 EUR. Beyond insane. Food can be 30€ per portion. I've been in fancy Italian restaurants, and luxury shops less expensive than this. It's truly unbelievable. At least the toilets are cheap and clean. There is a normal gas station right next to it, just go there for food. If you want to pay obscene amounts of money for food on a motorway in the middle of nowhere, this is the place for you. We had 2 salads, 2 soups and a bottle of water for “just” €58. What a deal! Mediocre and terribly overpriced food was complemented by slow and average service. They did not have many things from the menu we wanted. Very expensive. Terrible coffee. And not friendly service. Sad experience. Never more.
