God mat Mysigt ställe med god mat We had a nice lunch there. We had the prawn buffet today. The food was very good. The homemade meatballs were excellent. Just visited the restaurant, wonderful little place with high quality cuisine cooked from local produce. Not what I expected when I stopped for some lunch. Well worth both a visot and a detour. Very nice host, kind to children. Wow! What a fantastic hotel and restaurant. We cycled from Strangnas and arrived around 8pm. The hosts graciously made us an off-menu, three course dinner to accommodate our late arrival! The food was fabulous, with local mushrooms featured in a Swedish-Italian fusion pasta dish, as well as local trout with herbs and vegetables. Plus, a panna cotta dessert. The generous and fresh breakfast was included in our stay. The husband and wife who run the place are so warm, kind, and social. The wife is a Swedish sommelier and has an extensive background in kitchens and the resort industry. There is a lake a few minute walk away to have a morning swim. We feel lucky to have stayed here for one night on our cycling journey from Stockholm to Gothenburg! Thanks again! I see that the average/negative reviews are before their time :) Vi var tre personer som besökte Brevens bruk för discgolf. Vi övernattade på Brevensgården med trerättersmiddag och frukost och allt var fantastiskt! Middagen var utsökt, speciellt den lokala biffen som vi varmt rekommenderar. Rummen hade allt man behövde och sängarna mycket bekväma. Frukosten var även den till belåtenhet. Personalen var supertrevlig, i vårt fall Carina som tog mycket väl hand om oss och gav dessutom bra vintips och berättade om bruket. Stort tack för en trevlig vistelse! We visited the restaurant and had the homemade meatballs while passing through on our disc golf trip and they were 12/10 - an absolute delight. The owners were also lovely and very welcoming - we couldn’t recommend this place more. Prisvärt rum, jättefin service.
