Interesting museum, art gallery and park Beautiful place with the calming Park and the River Yerres running by to sooth your nerves 😍 We also kayaking on the river. The kayak renting opens at 3pm in the afternoon. Just loved it ❤️ Really enjoyed visiting the Caillebotte today. Don't come here expecting to see lots of his paintings (they are in museum collections and in private hands), but you'll get a great sense of what life was like in the 19th century for the French bourgeoisie. Highly recommend seeing the entirety of the film (screening room on the first floor), it was so informative. The grounds are spectacular. NB all wall panels, the film, etc are in French so if you don't speak the language it might be a tricky visit Well worth a visit .Beautiful painting s and décor.The furniture and fittings has been restored with taste and respects the styles of that era.
