Nice, small Château. I loved to walk around the 🚶, even though there was not much shade🌞. Nice small garden flowers 🌻🌸🌹🌺 and with lots of wide open outdoor spaces for long walks, running or to walk to dog or larger public events. In this particular case it was to “catch them all”. That place is magical with an unique atmosphere! It feels like you are back in time and any moment behind the corner will appear a lady wearing crinoline who smiles shy to an elegant gentleman. Soon the caret will catch up and take them and the place will become again idle and peaceful... Very chateau with an amazing outdoor space! It’s very close to Paris & less crowded than some other chateaus in the area, so I recommended taking an afternoon trip to visit & then have a picnic outside. The staff are also very kind & helpful. Amazing park, just near to Paris, easy to reach with RER B. Nice for summer picnics, play with kids, April month is the best to see blooming trees ! We spent the whole afternoon exploring the chateau and and it was absolutely heavenly 🥰 For those who like us are averse to touristy places where the world and its cousins converge, this Château is your answer to avoiding Versailles. The are laid out impeccably. even though the main castle is much smaller, this is the 100 year so it’s special. The Château de Sceaux and its are absolutely stunning. The château itself is a masterpiece of French architecture, filled with history and elegance. The park, designed by Le Nôtre, is breathtaking with its perfectly manicured gardens, serene lakes, and expansive pathways. It's the perfect place to take a peaceful stroll or enjoy a picnic while surrounded by nature and beauty. Whether you're a history lover or just looking for a peaceful escape from the city, this place is a must-visit. Every corner offers something to admire! The castle is quite small, but has a nice exhibition of paintings and furniture and the entry is only 4 euros! The are and very extensive, plus they're free to visit anytime. Great place for a picnic, or to play with kids and dogs. A museum with a rich and diverse collection. The are lovely and well-kept, making the whole visit feel peaceful and inspiring. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout — a wonderful experience overall. It was very crowded because of the Hanami event with the cherry blossom 🌸 but the parc is huge so there was spaces for even more people. It is a parc, however, not much kids friendly and no places to eat or drink. Better come by public transport, parking is very small for the amount of people on a good sunny weekend. Bring your food and drinks and a matt to sit on. Run don’t walk, it’s here—very underrated (with none of the crowds of Versailles) and just as immaculate. The artworks in the museum are also very unique. It was so exited to visit Chateau de Sceaux in a sunny day in France. I am planning to come back again with my family to show them how it is. I liked so much and I advised You to see. Parc de Sceaux is a historic located just south of Paris in the Hauts-de-Seine department. Designed by famed landscape architect André Le Nôtre in the 17th century, it features formal French gardens, grand canals, and the elegant Château de Sceaux, which now houses a museum. It's especially popular in spring when the cherry blossoms bloom, drawing crowds for picnics and photos. Absolutely Château, we weren’t able to go inside when we visited but we were able to appreciate the grounds. The architecture was absolutely and we would love to go again to appreciate to be able to take a look inside the museum part. A hidden gem just outside of Paris definitely a must-go! I went there on an electric bike, and although the steps weren’t really made for bikes, it was still doable. The landscape along the way was absolutely stunning, like nothing I’d ever seen before. Once I got there, I took my time walking around and truly disconnecting from everything. To top it all off, I treated myself to a delicious ice cream. A perfect escape from the city peaceful, beautiful, and so worth the ride! Hidden gem. Stunningly beautiful. Great place to hang outside in massive or enjoy the museum. Excellent small gift shop. A fun 2-hour experience. Amazing place for a day trip . Take foods with you , save u alot of money . Have picnic with family and friends .. best time to visit from april ..apart from natural beauty , big horses are there .. toilet available . Canal , forest , garden , châteaux , fontain , sunlight , theres everything u need to relax. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The building is elegant and beautiful, but the most impressive part is the gardens, with the colorful and the lake. It’s definitely worth visiting! You can even rent a boat – the price is reasonable, and the experience is amazing. A wonderful place to relax and take photos!
