Come for the view and the waffles. The dinners here are disappointing with average quality meat, poor vegetarian options and small portions. It would be ok if it was not also quite expensive, at this price point we expected better quality food. It's difficult to find faults with this place. Firstly, the location is stunning...and with such a view you really should cost your eyes when you take your first bite. I had the char with Jerusalem artichoke accompanied by roasted leek and a creamy sauce with whitefish roe. My better half had the whitefish roe pizza. Needless to say both were fantastic. The iced rhubarb soup for dessert was also great. The combination of flavours in all dishes were sublime and the overall experience was great. I cannot recommend this place enough, even for a "quick" dinner. It is most certainly worth a detour... Raggmunk was good, waffles were great and tunnbröd delicious 😋. Good view and child friendly with a changing table. Thanks! Drove here especially to have a late breakfast/early lunch in a stunning location. Greeting at the restaurant was aggressive and unfriendly, and despite the website stating it was open daily 10:00 - 16:00 from Jun 9 for food we arrived at 10:30 and were told they weren’t serving food and were pointed in the direction of the hotel a couple of minutes down the hill. The hotel was also not serving food but the greeting was warm and friendly, and he was very apologetic when I showed him what the website stated. Beautiful location with many forest trails to hike through, lakes to swim in, and views to soak in; well equipped and cozy accommodation (our cabin was part of an old farm building, with a sauna we could book a few steps away from our front door); and excellent service (thank you to Per and Liselotte, the owners, for being so kind and helpful!) Definitely recommend if you wish to explore the Swedish countryside. Had a birthday lunch hear and everything was perfect! Amazing view, delicious lunch! Nice place, I took a local beer only. Belive me or not, but they are selling a waffle for about 12-13 Eur (?!). Worst of all, there is a people willing to pay that price, I saw it. Amazing...
