Parc Oriental de Maulévrier
Maulévrier, France Botanical garden
One of the Best Places To Visits in Maulévrier A must-visit for garden enthusiasts and those seeking a tranquil escape. While weekends can be crowded, a weekday visit offers a more serene experience. The garden is especially magical at night with lights and music. Consider visiting on a weekday to avoid crowds. Be prepared for a possible wait at the ticket office. Parking is located in a public car park across the road from the entrance. Its a must see for garden lovers. Great gardens and outdoor space... captures the essence of a Japanese space. Surprisingly beautiful, huge garden based on Japanese influences. Loved it! Especially at night.. if you can, go at night! Very nice atmosphere with lovely music and great lights set a wonderful scene. Fantastic gardens to walk around, beautifully kept. Beautiful and well worth a visit...it takes a few hours to get the highlights. I really enjoyed and Its a must see for lovers. Great gardens and outdoor space. Not a full on formal Japanese water but a greater oriental influenced space combining colours, shaping and thoughtful planting and curation that captures the essence of a Japanese space. Adorable 💕 Surprisingly beautiful, huge based on Japanese influences Fantastic gardens to walk around, beautifully kept. Delightful visit, full of eastern (Japanese) promise. Beautiful place to be with some extraordinary Bonsay/Trees Worth to visit and wonder around We visited for Easter Sunday, and we weren't the only ones planning on going. Parking was hard to find, it took us about 15 minutes. Then the line was incredibly long, if you see a line coming out of the entrance just purchase them online and you'll skip the line entirely (that's what we did). Once in, we went against the crowd and were able to take really nice picture with minimal people in the foreground. Most of the cherry blossoms were gone but some were still in bloom. It's a really beautiful that you can get lost in for hours. If you don't like crowds don't go during the holidays, especially in Spring. Incredible, big Japanese gardens with plenty of trees and shade, so if you start to get sunburnt, you can just walk a few metres and go in the shade to cool down. Not very busy as it was a weekday, but I’d imagine it could get pretty busy on weekends and public holidays. All in all, great place to visit if you are in Maulévrier or surroundings. Beautiful tranquil garden. Lovely tea room at top with huge choice of teas ( and other drinks) and good selection of pastries We went on a weekday in early may but the was busier than I had expected and there was a good 10 minute wait at the ticket office. The parking is a bit strange as you have to go to a public car park on the other side of a road and walk through a tunnel to reach the entrance. The gardens and the plant sales area were very interesting but not at their best when we visited. It’s basically a linear walk up one side of the watercourse and then back the other side; some of the vistas over the lakes are quite spectacular. We did a 200km round trip to visit and judged it worthwhile. Loved it! Especially at night.. if you can, go at night! Very nice atmosphere with lovely music and great lights set a wonderful scene..
