Nice place , good for walks. The car park is free. Sometimes there's a van there selling beverages by the car park, although it's not there all of the time. Some have livestock in certain times of the year. The to are varied, there are some with fields, and some wooded areas. You can go quite far off track across fields if you like. Lots of dog walkers use this place, and they're allowed off lead, and most are. It can get busy at the weekends, dogs galore, a great place to socialise your dog. Children are also allowed, although there are no climbing frames etc, it's purely nature.. Wellies are advised especially in winter, some are extremely muddy. Not great for buggies. A surprisingly lovely place to visit, especially if you need a stop on the A14. The car park is free (no toilets) and there is a refreshment van on-site at weekends. Lots of different walks, but bring wellies as it’s super muddy. Brilliant for walking dogs on a circa 5k loop, family friendly and very spacious. Free car park, ideal for dog walking, jogging, or just walking and enjoying wildlife. There is a van on site that sells coffee, tea, biscuits, etc. Check the times because they are not there the whole day. Bit muddy in places, so I advise you to bring waterproof boots. Lovely place to explore and wander about. You may bump into some Highland Cows ( or not... grrr). It can be quite hilly and daley depending on the path you take. You can easily kill a few hours here and go back again! Only recently found out about this place, and what a stunning area huge doesnt even come close! So many walks amazing scenery. Dogs allowed some they have to remain on the leads but there some you are able to let your furry friend run around. Parking is small but we no problem (free parking). There is a picnic area, certain days a drink van comes. Also able to track the highland cows which are super friendly. Definitely bring your hiking boots as high/steap terrains. Lovely place for a walk, short or long. Usually a van selling nice coffee, cake and dog treats there. Big fluffy cows can be seen here too! Lots of trees, beautiful to about in, in the summer when it's warm. You can forage fruit in different parts at the end of Summer. It's a shame the motorway is so close and noisy and I'm sure the air quality is detrimented. Good to see the Highland Cattle brought over from Waterloo Cottage Farm and Farm Shop in Great Oxenden! As you along the paths, bright orange hair and horns pop into sight. Lovely muddy walk! Hidden gems and beautiful views. Especially the way autumn change leave colours.. Will definitely visit again to see better views! Parking is free and spacious, good place for dogs. Lovely place, lot of space and different routes explore. Always a pleasure to visit with the dogs. Great little food van for a coffee and a snack as well as a pupchino for the furbabies. Nice walk. Free parking. Only downside no toilet. Great walks, close to the A14. Highland cattle wandering an unexpected bonus! Shame that the coffee van is only Thursday to Sunday. Really nice walk, even if it has rained. Although make sure you take wellies. Can be very busy on weekends, but during the week it’s okay. Coffee van is really good. Can let your dog off on the as long as no cattle about. Great spot for off the leash dog walking. Lots of paths and even a coffee van for a drink after your 😁👍 Such a nice place with a play area we even got to see some cows. It's a nice with pleasant people Free parking, lots of different walks for variation & a chance to allow the dog off lead, picnic area, bins for waste and dog waste dotted around. we can’t wait to return and explore it more!
