Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Excellent service friendly staff. Lots of facility's including bar and bistro aswell as things for the kids to do. Massive range of accommodation options and would highly recommend staying there. It is my go to when in Canberra and have stayed a number of times since I was a child We stayed on a powered site in our motorhome. The site was fine, although it was pretty tight for caravans trying to get in...This morning I paid for a powered site (over the phone) and was told I'd be sent a form to fill in with our details. This did not arrive and I had to email to ask for it. We arrived at 4.45pm and the office was closed, even though apparently the office closes at 6pm on weekdays (it was Thursday). So we'd paid our money, but had no way of getting through the boom gate...A (random?) man came out & opened a lockbox, which had a map & fob for us to get in the boom gate...It would have been handy to have been told about the lockbox, etc...Not the best customer service... Stayed recently for a few days in a cabin with my kids, checked out early heres the reasons Apon arrival i was greeted in my cabin with a small dirty torn up pleather sofa, there was rubbish and food wedged down inbetween the cracks, and it was a 2 seater. We are a family. The beds where old, springy and overused i could not sleep. The beds had thick dust accumulated underneath them and 15 random poloroid photos indecating noone had bothered cleaning there in a while. The floors had bits of fluff, hair, food and grime all over. The kitchen area had 4 small uncofortable chairs. The pub area was overpriced but the food was decent. The servings of chips where tiny. The lady serving us was rude. Lots of drunk undesirable locals in there. The playground was abismal, small , old, boring, and neglected. There is so much more problems i cant list. We also found out there had been a murder in the park 3 days before we had arrived with children. We had to be in fear while pretending everything was ok. Sorry but it was not worth it hopefully they renovate because it could be such a nice place if they tried harder or had new managment. We stayed in a cabin. It did not smell nice from the very start. Also the stove and microwave were not working so had to go outside in the cold and use the camp kitchen. They did fix the stove and replaced the microwave the next day but after a long and tired drive it was the last thing you wanted to get home to this. The shower was dated and felt like it might fall apart. Then recreation room was also dated. I have stayed in many 3 star caravan parks in the past and they were much more modern than this. Location was good and easily accessible however. We feel the need to make comment about the appalling state of the amenities at this park. Whilst we were there we could not see any sign of either of the blocks having been cleaned. Some of the toilets had been messed and remained like that for the three days we were there. The showers were poorly fitted with broken locks, few hooks and shelves to put belongings. In our ten years of caravanning these were by far the worst facilities we have encountered.
