Interesting place, you can enjoy the park and architecture, amble around the stables and get quite close to the horses. They organise a number of events throughout the year, with jumping, dressage, etc as well as some spectacles, all about horses. Well worth a visit, possibly two. You may wonder, when you get there, whether it's open or where the ticket booth is. The answer is, just push the gate. It's open and there are no tickets. It's free! Attraction was interesting for our young kids, coming up close with various horse breeds and especially the horse and pony rides. Plenty of space to roam and run. We did not come on a day/time with any events so can't comment on that but this venue will create new experiences, particularly for little ones. Beautiful with some nice shows for kids (French only). Has more potential and is behind on maintenance which gives it a rustic touch A barracks to breed military horses. Magnificent strong to meet. This was an amazing find, €5 per adult children free. None of the talks or demonstration were in English, however, we were given an English guide and the staff tried hard to include is where appropriate. The main reason for the 5 🌟 review is the quality of the 3 horse shows, each had a different focus. The first was a circus inspired, using Shetland ponies. The second one was ballet between a rider on horseback and a girl on the ground. The last was spectacular, it defies explanation mixing humour and dance alongside history and drama telling the history of in the area. Brilliant few hours, if you like horses. Even if you don't the one hour "Spectacle" is fantastic. Very French, but simple enough to follow. How do the French do it? A plant in the audience ends up removing the skirt of a rather foxy host/faux flight attendant. In a show aimed at kids. You have to see it. Astounding horsemanship. No English guides or signage. Plenty of parking, even for our Ducato based camping-car literally just outside the front entrance. Excellent value and such a pleasant day out. Parking right outside and is free and a great little cafe bar is just around the corner. A restful and pleasant day with lots of shady places to sit and rest between the demonstrations. Opening times are later than advertised and most of the demos after lunchtime. Won't break the bank and very suitable for those with poor mobility or with little ones Lovely place, lot of things to see with the children. Price is really reasonable (you can spend the day and leave the site to go eat outside). Went during summer 2023, and the four horse demonstrations were great. The last one was especially good, a very enjoyable experience with the family Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
