This is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. It is a hidden gem on the road heading south. I took my shoes off and walked the river. The water was very cool and beautiful to see. The area is not developed for tourism which makes it even better. You get a bit of time alone with history. It refreshed us in a very hot day. Can't wait to go back. You should too. Pretty neglected. You can park your car right next to it, and view its both sides, along the entrance road leading to the village of Agios Georgios, it is really worth every moment!! The is shallow during the summer and you can walk between the arches. Small parking space near the road. No tickets needed. It's worth seeing and it's easy to get to. There's also ample parking. Bring your shoes because the water has lots of stones. Located a meters of the old national road, it's worthy to take the extra time and stop to enjoy the scenery and the ruins of this Roman Aqueduct. If it wasn't freezing cold (visiting in January 2022) I would have definitely taken off my shoes to walk in the river. Beautiful spot. A lovely clear in a beautiful and quiet setting. The very impressive Roman aqueduct really should receive some maintenance. There are trees growing out of the tops of the arches gradually destroying them. There's a path so that you can walk up to the level of the top of the aqueduct and see the channels for bringing the water.
