Took my 8 year old with his friend, and they were so excited to visit Ninja Warrior. Sadly the excitement didn't last long, the venue is way smaller than we thought with only 2 Ninja Warrior runs. Both of which are too high for 8 year olds to reach. So they spent most of their visit on the inflatables, which actually makes up most of the place. There are more inflatables than Ninja Warrior stuff. Whilst they had fun it mainly consisted of being on inflatables, so it turned out to be a very expensive trip to use inflatables. We also bought food whilst at Ninja Warrior Teesside and although the price was not bad, due to a 50% offer. The actual food was very subpar, the chips were cold, the pizza has weird square chicken on it (clearly from a frozen packet) and was just generally not very nice. So my advice is introduce more / short adult Ninja Warrior courses and sort the food out. I also think that it would be better if you just pay to enter and stay as long as you want, get tired and won't be there all day, but it always felt like clock watching. So if you are looking to recreate the TV show this is definitely not the place to do it. Decent for the kids. The courses are very height dependent, sometimes when the height isn't supposed to be the challenge, which stops some shorter using them. The is expensive for some of the basic things and the food is pretty average. Tables are wonky and the area is far from clean, even first thing on a morning. For some reason they have now made the walls and 'Viewing area' opaque, which stops you keeping an eye on older kids. Will come again as the like it, but I find it expensive for the facilities and what you get. date idea. Went here today with my partner and we had a time. +Ves: We were the only ones there! Went around 2.30pm on a Monday afternoon and it was empty except for a few babies in the under 3s area. Lovely staff, very attentive in case you need them. We were greeted by Stacey on reception who talked us through everything and was really helpful. The toilets were very clean, and there was a selling food and drinks although we didn't get anything. The inflatable bit was our favourite, felt like total wipeout and we could be big and have a play! -Ves: I should say we are both short (5'0" and 5'6") so the first bit of the course may have been easier had we been taller! But there were quite a few bits we couldn't reach at all, even with the extra cube to stand on 😂. I guess if you have you can lift them up, but we couldn't do that with eachother! A lot of monkey-bar style parts, which despite us doing a bit of gym each week, we couldn't manage at all! Maybe a sign we should be going more often... Overall really positive and would recommend it for families, kids, and big like us! Just be prepared to have to skip a few bits if you don't have the upper body strength! Will definitely be back and recommend to friends. Good inexpensive fun for the kids, loads to do. Safe and secure and appeared to be very clear. We arrived fairly early as my daughter is autistic. The couldn’t have been more accommodating, they were happy to turn down music and pointed out which areas were quietest they let her go through and check the volume level before we paid to enter to make sure she could cope without ear defenders (obviously these can’t be worn in such an environment safely). Really nice visit and lovely staff. Absolutely fantastic fun for and adults alike. Some elements of the course are better suited to adults, but there is something for everyone here. The are exceptional. From the minute we arrived they were and enthusiastic. There are plenty of around the course for safety, but they don't interfere or over-police the fun. My 9 year old son managed to burst his lip on his friend's foot and the help and support we received from Courtney was absolutely exceptional. A and we'll definitely be back. Overall we had a good time, but there are a number of specific caveats that could make or break your there. Good: - Giant inflatable section was really fun! - were very and helpful. They also offered guidance on how to tackle the courses when we got confused or struggled. - Place was clean and the course well maintained. - Price to enter was reasonable and well worth it if you enjoy physical challenges. - Their lockers were free, secure, and easy to use. Not so good: - We came with a really large group so cannot speak for the average experience, but the area where they give the pre-recorded safety briefing doesn’t work well when there are many people present. Everyone has to stand so people behind the first one or two rows cannot see the screen at all. It also wasn’t very loud so it was a struggle to hear it if you weren’t at the front close to the screen. - The ninja course was really difficult and many of them required predominantly upper body strength. Sadly can’t recommend this place for the average person who hasn’t done that specific kind of training/conditioning, as I noticed even people who religiously go to the gym couldn’t really handle many of the obstacles (the inflatable section doesn’t have this issue though). I also wouldn’t recommend the ninja courses for since only the taller ones would be able to reach most of the hand holds. - The ninja course doesn’t allow the use of chalk, which made the handholds very difficult to grip barehanded. We didn’t try the gloves, but they probably would’ve helped so we would recommend others to get them if they can. - The food quality was okay but expensive for what you get. We appreciated that they had options for dietary restrictions though. 11th birthday for my son. Elise was host for the of 14 kids. The food was as good as we expected and Elise was very friendly. Lots of parking available, which made arrival easy. The were friendly, attentive, and genuinely throughout our visit. K Troop had a brilliant afternoon — delicious food and drinks all around. They also offer support with birthday celebrations, which is a nice bonus. Highly recommended! Rude and incompetent management! We pre-booked as we are a of 7. Firstly, there was a queue with a member struggling with technical issues and a large queue forming. After waiting 10 minutes, our pre-booked session was about to begin with a safety briefing. One of the management team came to reception to see that there was a queue at a clearly peak and did absolutely nothing to assist member nor did she call for additional staff. When I finally get too the reception desk, I remark that I'm a little dissatisfaction with the organisations of what is clearly a peak time. Management member of offer no support but instead are verbally abusive to wards me. I would consider communication skills the number one priority from any fom of management. Not too mention a basic understanding of customer services. Terrible way to start are experience. First visiting ninja warrior with my son and he loved it. He enjoyed the climbing wall the different obstacles courses and the inflatable. Stacey who works for your team is an assist to your company. She is so and polite. Every question I asked she answered all for me. Stacey Showed me around the rooms regarding the birthday packages I asked and I even booked my sons next birthday here. She is amazing at her job and can see her becoming a supervisor or even manage 1 day. A huge shoutout to Rob 🙂 He and the were great, very when needed and the place overall is highly entertaining in which I’d recommend for you to take family, friends or even work colleagues as a team building experience. One thing to bear in mind however, if you plan on going is a lot of the obstacles requires mostly upper body strength, in which your muscles will be aching afterwards. A few pointers before your visit: 1. You’re not allowed to take food in, but you can take bottled drinks. They have a onsite, with food costing between £4-£8. 2. They have complimentary lockers in which you can store your personal belongings. 3. If you want to go on the inflatable part, you will need socks which is an additional cost. You can also buy gloves and a headband but again these come at an additional cost between £2.50-£5.50 each. Me and my (5 with additional needs and 7) came here for a friends birthday and I cannot praise the enough, especially a young lady called Courtney, they were ALL fantastic, polite, happy to help with any of our needs and oh so accommodating for my additional needs 5 year old. The were so lovely and I would say it’s the best children’s birthday we have been to! A massive thankyou to all the for all you do, we had a fantastic thanks to your kind attitude and accommodating nature….thankyou! Have visited several times with my and family friends now and have never had a bad experience! are all very and and nothing is too much trouble. The absolutely love the course and the is fab to go and take ten minutes and grab a coffee whilst the are enjoying themselves. Absolutely amazing for me and all of the Family. Stacey and Courtney on the day where incredible and very welcoming to all of us, made sure we knew the course. Would absolutely gorgeous again given the way we was treated on the day. The whole team off are incredible and so with any needs or questions. Visited yesterday (weekday) evening for the last session. I was waiting at the while playing as there wasn’t any other place to stay. Wobbly and dirty tables (of course unsafe) surprised me who had given 5 star rating. The is stupidly expensive, but I needed a double espresso cost me £7.10 (from vending machine, of course not freshly brewed) were asking me whether it’s fine. If I say no, will she be able to reduce the price? Sorry to say that, but who ever doing businesses unfairly won’t last long. It’s my first and last visit too.. All the best The whole course and inflatable area is very much enjoyed by our but what is the deal with not allowing parents to see while sat upstairs or downstairs? I am 5ft6 and have to go on my tippy toes to see over this. Are parents meant to stand by the side of the course for 1 or 2 hours to be able to watch over the children? Then that will cause massive overcrowding between the course's. You really need to remove the sticker covers from the glass, even if it is only 50% of it! We won't return unless that changes, making Walsall a better venue! Was 4-5 stars until today! Frosting of the glass, unable to spectate from the cafe. Kids enjoy coming to Ninja Warrior. HOWEVER, as a parent supervising 4 older not needing to follow them around and use to do this safely from the cafe. Recently they have now frosted all the glass to aprox 5ft5. The are unable to see the spectators or speak to us. And spectators are standing on tip toes to see over the top as not able to see through the glass now. Crazy idea to frost it all?? I Don’t need to be next to them on equipment and usually work from the glancing up and still being able to interact with them. On discussion with other spectators today. Everyone is of the same mindset. From start to finish customer service was brilliant greeted at front desk from a member of called Stacey with big smiles and lots of energy ready for the course!!! She couldn’t have been more helpful. Sat and waited not even 5 minutes before entering the course and she took us round and showed us about as it was our first time! atmosphere absolutely loved it! Definitely worth the money and will be back again!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 We went to the SEN session which starts at 6 . My daughter had food 1st which was nicer than I expected I had a tea as it’s freezing sitting. The session itself was fun ( hard work ) but we laughed at what we couldn’t do . All the were really nice , nothing was too much trouble. Definitely be back , after I have recovered.
