We like this place. We haven't seen it busy but it's a nice place. It's easy to miss it completely when you drive past on the main road. Signs need improving really and a neatly trimmed bush, at the entrance, would make a difference too They have all the stars. I often the place with a user and he loves it. The food is top notch. Great services and good willing to assist with a lot of courtesy. They are friendly.... The atmosphere is serene. You will love it. Unfortunately I have no pictures. Give it a try and you will give more than a 5 star if available... Not changed yet. Still same people with love for everyone. Claire is a wonderful manager. Always smiling and all the staff. They always welcome us with a smile. Top place for family as well. Give it a try and you will always want to be there. Wow. Its place Cheap food . I am here second time. I would never go back Went today 2nd Nov 2025 to celabrate my Grandsons 2nd Birthday. Booked in advance but told we could not use area. So when friends arrived we went to order food but because they had another party group there we had a one hour wait before we could order. Most of our family left due to one hour wait .ruined my Grsndsons party and hope head office sees reviews VERY GOOD went not expecting much on a Saturday evening took 3 but was surprised. Very family full of families with kids. Has a menu. No deals on a Saturday night so probably the most expensive to visit. The soft play was £3 per child but the loved it and it let them throw off some steam before sitting down for dinner. Prices are moderate not the cheapest but the food was lovely. Good choice for veggies and lovely large desserts. Good night all round. I hadn’t been here in years since moving out of town, but I was really impressed on my recent visit. The place has definitely improved, everything looked much cleaner and more inviting. The had a great playing, and the food was really nice. The were incredibly helpful and friendly. A special shoutout to Amie—the funniest and nicest bar lady I’ve ever met. She truly made our even better! I know this pub is cheap and cheerful but I’d get better food at a van. After waiting 40 minutes for our food to come, I had to spit the onion ring out that came with the burger, it was revolting. My husband’s looked less appetising than a russler out of the microwave and taste worse than one. My flat bread was just that, a flat bread with about 5 small slivers of gyros which was more like uncooked bacon rind. The only highlight was the salad and the drinks came fast. The pictures online and on the menu are not an accurate representation! To say we were gutted is an understatement but then we did say we didn’t expect it to be but even then it was worse than I ever imagined. I don’t know how places like this stay open. Nice surroundings and very and efficient service. Food was also very good, both in terms of quality (the steak was the best I've had in a long time), quantity (the portion sizes were generous) and variety. Will be back. We Fuzzy Ed's Often and the in there are absolutely amazing. Special mention to Amy who nearly always gets us in with patience of a saint especially when it comes to app codes. And James who is an absolute vibe, and not forgetting Claire who always has a smile on her face when she see's us. I have visited many and always just been satisfied with the and food received But on my most recent this had changed and everything was great from the welcome, at the bar and the food, it must be under new management which is taking this place in the right direction. Keep doing what you are doing. Can’t wait to again. This shout out is solely for James. He made my son’s birthday and honestly his was next level. What an person. James, thank you so much and I wish the best for you. What a credit to the company Came here as the Pied Piper down the road was fully booked...food was good and very fair prices. Place was a little empty which is a shame as its quite a nice place. Can't compare it to Pied Piper as we couldnt get in. Overall we enjoyed it. Today we celebrated my son’s first birthday. We had delicious food and great time. Special thanks to Alan very polite and respectful. A lovely place to for food , drinks and soft play. The menu has plenty of choice although I always choose the hunters chicken. Food is good value for money especially the children's menu offers. We always have a and welcoming service, especially from Claire. It's easy to book our favourite table and never feel rushed to leave. The pub needs to stop the running up and down the area , the bar take no notice and also one particular bar needs to work on their customer skills. Absolutely shocking, ordered 4 meals and two child meals. 1st meal was missing onion rings. 2nd meal had sauce on when told not to put it on. It was replaced with a stale bun which could have smashed through glass 3rd meal should of had a well done steak, it was still mooing when it arrived, it was oozing blood. 4th meal had no sauce at all on the when it should have had two different types, the chicken was also like a rubber tyre. We complained on every level and ended up with free desserts for all of us. Another table waited an hour and a half for food then requested a refund. Another table asked how long food would be due to a person being diabetic, she was told half an hour. The husband took his insulin and an HOUR later went into a hypo because they waited too long. That was the second refund that we had seen. The place wasn't even busy. It was an absolute farse from start to finish. Must say the poor took some flack tonight but they took it in their stride and remained smiling. EVEN THOUGH THE MANAGER WAS IN THE KITCHEN, HE NEVER CAME OUT TO ANY OF THE COMPLAINTS. (SOME MANAGER THAT)!!! THEY SERIOUSLY NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER AS IT'S GOING DOWN THE PAN FAST !!! Booked a able for 1pm it's now 2.40pm and we are still waiting for food. 3 new cooks in the kitchen. When asked they said that the food is being plated they came out 5 minutes later to say there's no mash. God knows what the food is going to be like when we eventually get it. Not good. Also turning people away for food For starters one of the food came cold, fish didn’t look/taste cooked, ordered mini chocolate brownie which you are supposed to get Belgian chocolate sauce and fluffy ice cream with it and mine came with 3 tiny strawberries and nothing else, baring in mind I don’t like strawberries so I just had this tiny little piece of cake that wouldn’t even fill a toddler as there was nowhere it said it comes with strawberries and no other option etc. False advertisement. Will NOT be coming back. This was the first going here will definitely be going again. The were very and welcoming😊the food was great and the soft play was too Aayla is absolutely fantastic! Every I the restaurant, she greets me with a warm smile and a positive attitude that instantly brightens my day. Her is always top-notch; she’s attentive, friendly, and goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels special. Whether it’s recommending dishes or checking in to make sure everything is perfect Aayla truly makes the dining experience enjoyable. I highly recommend her for her and cheerful demeanor! Lovely food and fantastic service. We visited the soft play and the pub afterwards. Both were immaculate throughout.
