We were too early for lunch but the brewer's wife offered to cut up Kalterbraten (cold roast pork) early as she could see we were in need of some food. It was still warm and the skin crispy. It remains the best one I've ever had. The beer's great, too and all too easy to drink. Took my Dad here and had an assortment of cold meat plates that were great, too. Hope to one day enjoy a Sunday roast, I'm sure that woman can cook up a storm. How low can you go? Unfriendly and a very unpleasantly extreme right wing ‘feel’ makes this ‘rural’ beergarten a top notch place to avoid. Beware! Food and beer are okay. Strange. Excellent beer and service!
