The Hainbadestelle is perfect for sunbathing, picnicking, and of course, a swim in the river. Plenty of wooden sunbathing floors and benches are available. There are also numerous trees providing shade on grass lawns. There is a relatively large play area for the children. The atmosphere is mostly relaxed and quiet. A cute cafeteria stands ready with cooldrinks, icecream, and some meal options. The bathrooms are rather small but in good condition, although the floors can become a little wet due to the people swimming. Many changerooms and lockers are available. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day there and would gladly go more often if I lived nearby. Once-off tickets are inexpensive and season tickets are also available. Absolutely loved my experience here. The water was warm, nice tanning on the wooden platforms, bathrooms available and friendly people everywhere. Super place to go swimming with friends and family. Could be cold at first but you get quickly used to it. During the day you can get some nice sun while in the evening they host outside cinemas which you need to buy a ticket for though. I discovered this hidden gem after moving into my new apartment by the Regnitz River. I absolutely love spending time there throughout the summer, even into October. Sunbathing by the water and then taking a refreshing dip in the river feels absolutely magical. The people there are really nice too.
