Beautiful place. There is a free parking nearby so you could promenade quietly. We visited here after walking around the centre. There's an underground car park that's reasonably priced, directly next to the marina. 2 bridges cross the river, enabling you to complete a flat, circular walk. A pavement runs the full length of the water inlet, so it's suitable for wheelchair users, prams, and bicycles. There are also plenty of benches along the route should you get weary. Several cafés are nearby for refreshments. A good place to visit. If you are in the area this city is well worth a visit. Historic city centre and plenty of shops and cafés to visit. There is even a marina right next to this historic centre, so you can by yacht! Lovely town. Pretty timbered houses and cobbled streets. Had a super diner by the port. La grande kermesse du weekend, et de la semaine dès qu'il y a un rayon de soleil...c'est sur le de Vannes!!..😱 Depuis que je suis petite, j’ai vu le de Vannes accueillir une multitude d’activités et évoluer au fil des années. Il a su se transformer tout en conservant son charme, et il reste toujours aussi beau. Cependant, à certaines périodes de l’année, il semble arriver à saturation. La dernière bonne idée a été d’y installer un marché de Noël, une initiative que j’espère voir reconduite et même étendue dans les années à venir, pourquoi pas en décorant encore davantage tout le port. J’aime voir ce lieu évoluer et j’espère qu’il continuera à se réinventer tout en préservant son identité Very beautiful area. Lovely old walled with its cathedral and old buildings.
