Highly recommended for a day out with a family! Very nice and family friendly place with nice toys for the kids to play beside tennis courts and climbing walls. Good tracks for jogging and for walking the dogs. A small bar can be found for refreshments and snacks. The trees and gardens need a bit more maintenance though.. Its a good place for families but need the toilets to be neat and clean. It's an amazing city park, very clean and full of spaces to play, there's a small football field, a open space gym, tennies fields, skate park, children park, 1 great coffee place/restaurant. Lots of green spaces where you can sit or just walk by. There's a little "river" through the middle of the where you can see ducks and geese. There's even chicked running around, its full of life and makes Barreiro a better place. It's very nice place for enjoy with family Nice to relax and with a nice lagoon with ducks, fish and turtles. Very nice, modern and open park. Has a small playground for small children, plenty of ducks & chicken, a cafê, a small skatepark and an auditorium that often hosts shows/exhibitions. Unfortunately, the space isn't well kept, most of its walkways need fixing, fountains are broken and just looks like it could be so much better. Parque da Cidade do Barreiro has a 4.4 star rating on Google Maps. It is open from 6am to 2am, Friday to Saturday, and from 6am to midnight on other days Parque da cidade is a lovely place to have your walks. If you don't want to walk you can talk to the chickens. Beautiful park! Quiet, and with several options and activities to enjoy from. Bear in mind.. not everyone takes their dog’s doings unfortunately so keep your eyes open to where you step on.
