A very large which doubles as a fair ground each year and a place for community gatherings. It has a large trail that encompasses the entire park. It is nice for walking or jogging however it is not a for enjoying nature simply because there is not much here. Some of the most important events in Corroios take place in this park, such as various parties and fairs. It's a cool area, currently also doubling up as a vaccination site. There's a fair held here on the last Sunday of each month, pretty cool family outing, get some fresh air, stock up on your fruit and veggies, chorizo and cheese as well as dried fruit and nuts from all aound the country... Good place, used regularly for fairs and other kind of events. Nice and quite place if you wish to stretch your legs... This is a decent place to walk your dog or to go for a run. But it definitely needs an investment. Instead of large building that are always closed and without use, it would be great to have all pathways paved and with lighting. Specially in the winter, half of the paths are filled with water and mud. Considering those are used everyday that should be a priority. Very good to walk and relax. At any time of the day. Friendly environment for the locals and their families also for visitors :) It's a lovely for a walk, has a BBQ area (need to book like A LOT in advance), there is outdoor gym, basketball area, skate type of area, and kids playground. There are public toilets in the area and plenty of parking options around the park. There are options to be in the shadow and options in the sun. It is a nice park, has good facilities, but other than that nothing special. Most of the festivals of this region are held in this park... Be sure to participate in its festivals I went to "feira de corroios " it's a fun fair that is always occurring on the last week of August. It's really fun and has a lot of delicious food.
