The general area was clearly an area where property development came to a halt years ago and is just restarting again. It's one of those eerie areas you see so often where all the roads and infrastructure are in place with no buildings and all overgrow. The tower and little garden it sits in also look like they have not been tended for a long time. Lovely pebbly with beautiful sunrises. The sand is course and sea see is lovely. Cycled up to see this tower from villajoyosa. As previous comments say, it is surrounded by construction and a wire fence that it closed, so you can only look from behind the fence. The small nearby is nice, but not worth the trip if you only want to see the tower. Love the tower we live close to it and the garden 🪴 is of course beautiful and the seaside area has some pebbles!?! Nice easy walk with great views. Gate to Upper level is always locked though Beautiful place like a secluded beach. Although alot of stones on the it feels like paradise! Lovely little ,peace and quiet very good place to chill ,pebble ,beach bar during summer months ,campsite along side good for a wine ,coffee or food ,little haven away from it all .. Really interesting mauselium with great information boards in three languages (plus visual Spanish reading system for those learning Spanish). Lovely Roman garden too. We took a taxi from Villajoyosa.. it cost Euros 6.60 .. and then walked back along the coastal walk...an easy walk with just a small 'climb down 1.50m rock steps,` bit but other than that a stroll that hugs the coast line.
