Fabulous day out for all the family. Just made a repeat visit with our grandchildren today. We have been visiting regularly now for 35 years. First of all with our children , with friends and their children and now for the 3rd time with our grandchildren. Really nice place, our guide thru the area was really great. He had really good connections with the animals. And he spoke english aswell as spanish. You get really close to that you normally wouldnt. Not a bad place but definitely need some more water and greenery. Hippos are being held in a place with practically no water. They are practically on a desert with very little trees or bushes. The whole excursion is quite long, more than 2 hours. Good to take drinks and food with you, especially if you are going with kids. I come here every single year with my family and it is my favorite safari. Kids enjoy seeing and discovering new wild and most of the time you can touch some of them. You don't see from afar, but a step away from you! A magnificent experience. Also, guides explain animals' characteristics in a very entertaining way! When I have kids I won't hesitate to come back here. Well organized safari . Worth the money. Was €25 euro per person. Cars follow the guide and he stops and talks about each animal group. Lasts around 2 1/2 hours . You can also walk around an area before the safari gate and view the there on foot . The place is quite nice and the staff are friendly. But it was a disaster today. The queue to get in was huge and we spent 4 hours in the car, with bored children. There were times we were stuck in car for over 30 minutes and not allowed to get out. We couldn’t even leave early because there were so many cars in front. Very bad organisation. I’ve no idea why they don’t sell tickets online with allotted times to enter the park. To avoid this in the future. If I hadn’t been so fed up when we got out I would’ve asked for a refund. We booked online from the UK, I had a few questions initially so emailed them, they responded super quickly and answered my questions. We had a group of 3 adults and one 5 year old child. They emailed us the day before our trip explaining where we needed to go, they emailed in English which they really didn’t need to do, I could google translate it but it was such a lovely touch. The day of arrival we met John in the car park, we explained we were there for the private and his face lit up with joy and said he was going to be our guide. If you get to request a guide ask for John! He was the loveliest human you could ever ask for! The passion and information that John bestowed upon us was simply astounding! He let my little boy sit up front on a booster seat. He gave us our instructions and to follow him and what he said for our own safety. As we began the in the van (which was air conditioned and such a blessing!) John explained each animal with such enthusiasm that we couldn’t help but listen attentively to him! He really made our entire a wonderful experience. He was kind and respectful and funny too! Lots of stories about the and their lives and the wonderful conservation work the safari do! The were well looked after, lots of fresh food and water available, the giraffes were brilliant but the elephants were simply magical! The entire experience for the cost of the was second to none! For such a small cost the whole experience is so worth it! We played hippo basketball and hugged elephants and fed the giraffes, I couldn’t ask for more! We will be a returning guest year after year now! There is a restaurant within the grounds for cold drinks and fast food/salads and snacks, and then you can walk around another smaller animal zoo, where we collected peacock feathers and saw such lovely well kept animal enclosures. What a wonderful experience all round! Long may they continue. We took the guided and got a lot of info about the from the guide. The is in good condition but would like to see more greenery in the closure. The lasted over 2hrs so bring something to drink. We ate at the restaurant after and we recommend the cheese and bacon burger 👍 Nice staff.
