I booked it for my family (2 parents and 3 kids 18, 16 and 13) on the last day of our vacation in Greece. We are taking the specific Greek recipes, we learned, home. They were very kind and knowledgeable in explaining everything. The they served were excellent. An additional advantage is that they can visit you at your stay, we were Villa Elva Nafplio, that you can enjoy the without driving. Thus I would highly them. We are nerds who focus on visiting the local archaeological sites and museums. However, we decided to schedule some time at the Savor Greek in Nafplio. Wow, what a wonderful experience! Agathi and Costas are passionate about Greek and wines. They have an amazing facility. However, their culinary expertise and genuine hospitality bring this facility to life and deliver an amazing learning about preparing Greek dishes. Costas is a skilled chef…he is also an excellent instructor who helped us prepare the dishes and understand how these fit together to form an amazing meal. Agathi knows her and pares them perfectly with each course. What I enjoyed most, though, was their genuine kindness and caring about our with them in preparing an outstanding meal. Make time for their Greek when you are in Nafplio! My husband and I booked a with Savor Nafplio and absolutely loved it. The husband and wife team put together an absolutely wonderful evening. I’ve read other reviews from other classes that people are bummed because they don’t get to do the actual cooking. We were asked to cut up and prep lots of different ingredients, but no one had to participate if they did not want to. We were then asked to start frying the chicken and stirring the tomato sauce and the bisque. The chef explained why he does things a certain way, so we understand where the flavor comes from. The main dish recipe tonight was from his grandmother. He had a different wine pairing with each course. There were four courses, and by the time we were finished eating, I was stuffed! Everything was delicious. What a fantastic evening. I highly this class. What a at Savor! Costas and Agatha made this such fun with the menu and wine pairing. We have done classes many places around the world and this one was something extra special! A all around! This came highly recommended by a local guide. Best recommendation we could have gotten. The is hands on with a lot of instruction and explanation along the way. Costas and Agathi are a husband wife team who are clearly passionate about educating and sharing their love of and Greece. We highly learning about Greek culture and their cuisine while enjoying a fantastic meal paired with local wines. This was one of our top experiences on our trip to Greece.
