Staff way to interested in taking Instagram photos behind the bar, no hello, no order, nothing. Waited for 15mins without any service whatsoever. Avoid and go somewhere else. We were one of the only tables there. I can’t rate the food as we never managed to order. A must for a drink, food is spectacular. Chinese noodles and pinza delicious. Since last year we have visited Omilos a few times on various occasions. Most of them had a satisfied ending, meaning we enjoyed our overpriced cocktails and had a good time. However, last week was quite a bad experience. Service was insufficient at best, quite impolite and incompetent. Finally the drinks were dull, from cocktails to simple gin and tonic. Such a shame as this place could be much more. It’s more of a tourist trap rather than anything else. Everything was perfect. Very nice waiters, had a nice chat. The location is beyond beautiful. And the sofas overlooking the sea and the mountains are comfy. Amazing sunsets! Should have listened to the other bad reviews. But was thinking, how bad can it be for one drink, and the location being very nice, so we went for it. We ordered 2 cocktails which were pricy. Some other reviewer mentioned having been in 53 countries and this being his worst experience. For me it is more like the worst cocktail I've had having been in something like 35 countries. The margarita tasted like 60% water and 40% sprite. No taste of tequila or triple sec, no taste of lime. And the mojito was similar, no rum, just minty water. Waiting staff also not very polite, removing chairs from your table without even a word. Exceptional location but this is the only one positive comment. Lousy food, less than minimum acceptable plates' quantities, even the bottled water was unacceptable, high prices, unorganized service, profound evidence of tax evasion, reluctance to provide legitimate bill, credit card charge to unknown recipient. On Thursday, August 28, 2025, I had one of the worst nightlife experiences I’ve ever encountered. The venue itself was beautiful and had great potential, but everything else ruined the night. The DJ had an extremely poor taste in music, changing songs every five seconds, making it impossible to enjoy or follow the atmosphere. On top of that, the service was terrible. I had to wait far too long just to place an order, and when it came time to pay, my Visa card unexpectedly didn’t go through. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the barman looked at me and said, “Next time make sure you have money in the Visa before you order.” I then paid immediately with another Visa card that worked without issue, but his comment was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Having been to bars in 53 different countries, I can confidently say this was by far the most disappointing experience I have ever had.
