Beautiful quiet park, nice for families and kids. There is a historical monument of Kolokotronis, a small lake, as well as some old trains, nice tourist attractions, good for memorial photos. It has many trees and shaded areas, clean and safe place. It is a large square between the new and the old town of Nafplion, with many trees andbenches, where the statue of Theodoros Kolokotronis dominates in the middle of the square. Behind the palace you can see the impressive Palamidi fortress. Around the square there are many stores with tables for food, drinks, ice creams or coffee. This square is much quieter than the central square of the old town of Nafplio. The same statue of the Kolokotronis is also can be found in Athens Beautiful landmark Nice little park near the old town. Has a lot of play areas for children and some bars and restaurants. It is a good place to spend some time. We are staying in Naphlio for several weeks and are seeing most of the local museums and parks. Nice park. Needs some cleaning and gardening. Można się zmęczyć chodząc wokoło żeby coś zobaczyć z góry. I nie zapomnijcie o zachodzie słońca. Warto zobaczyć. Όμορφο και ήσυχο πάρκο με το επιβλητικό άγαλμα του Κολοκοτρώνη να στέκεται εκεί και να θυμίζει στον επισκέπτη την τεράστια ιστορία της Ελλάδας. A very nice park with a great statue of Θεόδωρος Κολοκοτρώνης but when i went closer ro have a better look at the statue i fell down and injured my leg vwey badly.
