Kentrikon was a recommendation from friends who have a Greek grocery store in the old town of Nafplio. In fact, it was she who took us to this restaurant to try the famous Loukoumades, which are fried Greek honey puffs. We tried the traditional donuts with vanilla ice cream, which were very tasty. We also had a Greek beer and a caipirinha to remind us of Brazil. As we visited Nafplio in May 2024 on a hot day with a clear blue sky, we were able to sit on the patio under a beautiful tree, right in front of Syntagma Square, where there are more restaurants, shops, and other activities. The service was not that friendly but efficient, so we found it sufficient. We didn't have lunch at the place, this way we cannot recommend their local food. We just went for some drinks, donuts, and to relax in the city after a long walk, and it was worth it. Stopped off in the town during an archaeological tour. At first I was dubious. Being a tourist hot-spot, I assumed the food would be overpriced and underwhelming. I was wrong. Good pizza, pasta and dacos. Clean lavatories also. Recommended. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. Service was kind and fast. The price was so good. I loved it. Wonderful food and fresh orange juice - we had there the best Greek salad during the whole stay in Greece. Great location and atmosphere. Both times the food was top notch quality - especially recommend the loukumades! The homemade lemonade was also really great. Good service despite a full terrace. This is a refreshing place for a great lunch. Everything our large group ordered on the menu was excellent. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We were in Nafplio three days and ate here three times. Perfect cozy vibes right on the square for a late evening dinner, cushioned seats were comfortable and it was easy to linger. Food was delicious, best dolmades we had in Greece and don't forget to try the loukoumades!
