I would describe Woodlands Master as an inland links, with wide undulating fairways, very few trees. If the wind is blowing it makes the course more difficult. Surprisingly hilly in part. Lots of lakes, so course management comes into play. Greens ok with subtle breaks, can easily 3 putt. Bunkers could do with more sand. Fairways recovering from the hot summer 2025. Practise nets & putting green Friendly staff small pro shop with the basics. Sadly the bar was closed under Covid, there’s no plans to open it? At £26 (Sept 25) for a Saturday 10 o’clock bargain. Great club with two very good 18 hole courses, becoming more and more established. Friendly staff and easy to book online. Plenty of buggy’s. The signature course is good, best suited to beginners and intermediates, the Masters is also good but is a bit more challenging. Watch out for the Canada geese… you might get a birdie! Recommended!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Woodlands is a 2 course club open to the general public, we the signature course which is rated as the best one however the Masters is also a good course. £20 a round, you cannot go wrong. It does get busy but a 4 ball will be round in just over 4 hours with the course fully booked. Recommended. pay and play Good golf at a great price. I've both the Master's and the Signature and enjoyed them both. The Signature in my opinion is more interesting and challenging. I'd recommend either course for the price. Pay and play during the week is £20. We here before a weekend at St Pierre (Signature course) and for £22 we were blown away. Amazing greens, true fairways and cheap buggies. A real hidden gem and better than one of the at St Pierre! We the signature course today what a course the greens are in the best condition and roll fast,the fairways were in good condition as well ,there's alot of different holes on the course with some tricky par 3's surrounded with water. Only £22 on Saturday we will definitely be going back to try the masters course.👍🏌‍♂️ Amazing place to play golf would recommend to anyone Affordable golf on two great superb greens I have rated this 2 stars only because of the pricing. The course was nice don't get me wrong (we the masters course) but did not feel like it was worth £52, I understand the weather that we have had can ruin the grass but every single fairway was horrible, felt like there was no maintenance at all. The only positive I can say is that the greens have been kept quite well, still in my opinion not worth £52 at all, I have other course which have been cheaper and I would rate higher than this one. Club house was nice and so was the Pro Shop, friendly staff and a very nice Bacon Bap. I was quite disappointed to be honest. Great Course, very well kept and well priced too! Our first visit here & we the signature course yesterday which really impressed us amateurs & so far the best course we've all played.. The 17th is beautiful along with some tricky greens its well worth a visit & priced fantastic. Two of us hit our first ever sub 100 scores so proper happy!!! (Duffed a few chips or would've been lower 90s!) We'll definitely be back for more & big thumbs up! Great condition absolutely beautiful place. Plenty of car parking and easy to find.
