The flowers were almost out of season when we visited (mid August) not as purple as it should've been. There's a really nice cafe serving many flavoured cakes (which all taste good). I would recommend the and almond cake. Also a gift shop with several products. There's also a lot of parking available. What a hidden gem. The lush fields, rows of other flowers and vegetables, all of which you can wander around and photograph to your heart's content. The staff are very friendly. It's dog friendly. The café has some lovely food and beverages. I bought lots of and thyme and was given helpful advice on how to keep my alive (I've got a reputation 😂). There's also a fab little shop with lots of goodies. Will most certainly be back. Lovely place Visited this a few times and it really is lovely. Was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon. Had a wander around the gardens and fields. Few plants for sale. Cafe/shop is really nice. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Free car 🚗 parking. Highly recommended 👌 👍 I am a photographer and would say this place was disappointing this year (2024) for photography. The rows didn't seem to to be blooming very well. The colours were dull and the rows patchy and full of weeds. I hope they improve this in the future and if they were to ever re do the rows, if they could go from North to south instead of east to west that would also be great. I would happily pay £50 for a pass to take photos here like I do at cotswold lavender, but the difference is stark. I get that it is a working but there is so much more they could do to diversify. I have attached some of the photos I've taken here to show what is possible. I just wish the place was better maintained because it could be so good and we went during peak blooming time yet the wasn't in flower. Don't know if they just had a bad year or what. At the moment, due to the entry price being free, I do a lot of charity photo shoots here. But it would be another good location to use. I would improve: 1. Have grass in some places between some of the rows 2. More bushy that grows really close together 3. Different colours of lavender 4. Different bush heights and sizes. 5. Weed the fields visited this nice in late july, the flowers were still stunning with delicate and sweet smell, bees were around 🐝 . there is a cafe you could have a nice cup of tea and try the delicious cake and ice cream. not an extremely huge farm, but it is good enough for spending an afternoon with family. car park is fairly spaced Lovely little trip to Somerset this morning. Went during a Saturday in Summer Holidays, free entry (optional donation), beautiful fields offset with vibrant yellow flowers and a vibrant mixed flower garden. The cafe and shop was also great, had a cream tea with my partner and it was so good we went back for seconds. Purchased Lavendar massage oil which smells gorgeous and makes you very relaxed. Also dog friendly with water bowls for your furry friends. My only reason for dropping a star is we had hoped to see the sunflower field also, however there were no signs directing visitors to the sunflowers so unfortunately left without getting to see it. Would definitely recommend for a lovely day trip. X Beautiful place, the smell was amazing. Small but worth a visit, great little cafe with tasty food. The shop is full of amazing gifts for self indulgence and gifts for friends and family . Home grown being turned into amazing products . Will defo be back ❤️ Beautiful with Lavendar spread and mini sunflowers , perfect place to spend a day with your family and friends for picnic 🧺 and get snapped some great pictures Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
