I didn’t make the booking so can’t comment on that but the stay was perfect. The location is close to the ferry which meant we didn’t have far to go when we arrived. The area is beautiful, and close to the beach which was perfect for running. The supermarket is a bit of a drive but you could just arrive with what you need. House was clean and tidy. Great amenities available; dishwasher, shower, bath, cloakroom toilet, wifi, garden etc. must be beautiful in the summer. Dagtrip to a friend's house. Nice and quiet, very close to an excellent beach with very attentive life guards. Will visit again. Well. Last year I wrote a review for another Roompot location, and it was raving. I loved it, could not get enough. Sadly, it seems that all locations are NOT equal for Roompot. First of all, this location claims to have both a "play area" for kids as well as a "mini markt." The play area consists of TWO items. Two. And it is behind dumpsters, at the entrance of the park, and RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ROAD. I hope you keep your kids on a leash, because if boredom does not kill them, the traffic might. As for the "minimarkt", well, you have to see it to believe it. It's actually three shelves and a fridge. I am not actually exaggerating - it's three shelves. It has the barest of bare minimums... The cleanliness of the park leaves much to be desired. Not only are there numerous cobwebs, which is never excusable but might be understandable if this was the beginning of the tourist season, but we came at the beginning of AUGUST. The house we rented, although superficially clean, had a very unpleasant smell that we could not get rid of - we suppressed it by leaving the windows open constantly. All in all, given the price (not lower than any of the other parks!), what this park seems like is just the redheaded stepchild of the park which is half an hour away by car, the Vakantiepark Kijkduin (also Roompot), which actually has the proper amenities for this kind of park (tennis court, swimming pool, actual playground...). By the way, Roompot refused to grant us access to those amenities... Just so you know. We stayed here for work, and it was below expectations on every front. The house, while basic, was clean when we arrived. The back garden was overgrown, the kitchen was missing some essentials for a long stay, the WiFi was very bad and the TV was very small. There isn't much in the area, most things require you to drive. We were having post delivered to the accommodation as we were living here for months. Unfortunately the reception only work until 2pm every day, so it was an very hard task to receive parcels. If the reception was closed when we got home from work, they sometimes put your post in a black box outside. Unfortunately if the box was large, the staff would ram it into the box and damage it. They also complained that we had too much post delivered. The cleaners came once every fortnight, but didn't actually clean. They just popped their head in the front door and dropped new bedding off. They left it at the bottom of the stairs. Lovely houses, very quiet when we visited friends there. Maybe due to great weather, so everyone was at the beach. I would like to spend more time there. The mini Town looks very nice. The living is very good. What we did not liked was the smell în the house when we entered, it seems to be from humidity. It is well equiped but des not include a barbecue. Good supermarkets în 10 min by car. Checkout at 10. Beach is closet and is good for dog also. Lovely holiday cottages with everything you need, close to quaint town.
