Tolle Tiere aber nicht alle waren auffindbar oder haben sich versteckt. Für die Kinder gibt es einen tollen Spielplatz und Eis und Snacks werden geboten. Es war recht voll an einem Sonntag aber es verlief sich alles wunderbar. Ein Ausflug ist es dennoch wert :) A really nice little zoo where you can easily spend 3 or 4 hours. An interesting variety of animals, things like foxes and raccoons which you won't see in many places. The wolves were also a highlight. The restaurant was also really good. Amazing schnitzels with particularly speedy and friendly service. Highly recommended. Spielplatz für Kinder ist auch klasse We stayed overnight on the campsite and it was so much fun! The kids could use the play area in the until 8pm and from 8am the next day. It was great to see the when there were no other guests around! Cabins were simple but have everything you need- toilet and shower and there is a huge communal kitchen and a grill and campfire space. Another plus point is that dogs are allowed to stay in the cabins and to enter the park. Definitely recommend! The place is great. The nature is amazing. The staffs are the best. But what impressed me the most on our visit yesterday was this: I didn't check the price for the entrance and accidentally paid for my daughter as well and only when we were leaving did I realized that only kids above 4 years old have to pay 9.50€ (my daughter is 3 1/2). It was completely my own fault and it was hours ago since we bought the tickets, the same girl at the cashier was gone. We still approached the nice lady at the other cashier and explained what happened, she looked at my daughter once and quickly gave us the money back with no further ado. I was impressed. Not only about the 9.50€ (because I was ready to accept it, since it was my own fault). But the fairness and honesty of the staff. We promise we will come back even after my daughter turns 4 and will dutifully pay the 9.50€ :) Til then I wish all the best to the staffs and the animals. Amazing! Immer wieder toll. Dieses Mal waren wir leider spät dran. Die Tiere haben ab 16 h meist "Feierabend". Trotzdem ist es immer wieder schön, dort spazieren zu gehen. Momentan ist die direkte Zufahrt von der A7 kommend gesperrt. Die Umleitung ist aber sehr gut ausgeschildert und es dauert auch nur wenige Minuten länger. Putting this simply, it is a lovely place. It feels more "wild" than other Wildparks in the vicinity of Hamburg. If You want to touch nature, it's definitely worth visiting. PS. I would love to see Shoebill Stork in the future there, as this majestic creature would suit the wild feeling of this place. Keine Frage, wirklich ein sehr, sehr lohnenswerte Wildpark. Uns begeistert neben den Tieren auf jeden Fall die sehr typische ursprüngliche Schleswig-Holsteinische Landschaft, mit dem sich durchschlängelnden Flüsschen. Spent a great day with the family there. We now have a year long family pass and are excited to visit all the again soon I really enjoyed visiting this park. Amazing in the wild, not in cages (ahah, except for the raccoons).
