It was very clean and well maintained and would have been for picknicks. My 2 year old was able to enjoy her self over 3 hours with the animals and the different playgrounds. The thing about the playground was that there were enough benches around for the care takers and they made sure that there are both shadow places as well as sunny ones so you could adjust yourself.
