Πανέμορφο για βόλτα με τα πόδια, περπάτημα, χαλάρωση, με υπέροχη θέα Στολίδι στον Αμβρακικό. Είναι από τα πιο όμορφα αξιοθέατα της Αιτωλοακαρνανίας την οποία σνομπάρουν με ύφος χιλίων Καρδηναλίων οι Λευκαδίτες που νομίζουν ότι μονο η Λευκάδα αξίζει και τιποτα τριγύρω από αυτή. Votnisa is a small town, not much placec to go so we have a here. Always anchor here when sailing into Vonitsa. One of my favourite places off the beaten track. Large bay to anchor in but the holding this year isn't great, used to be fantastic, don't know what's happened. A bit of noise from the main road and greek fishing boats in the evening. A 15 minute into town but a great place to relax away from charter boats and flotillas. Nice stroll around the wooded island pretty church and bridge. Not the clearest water to swim in better on West side, but watch out for sea urchin spines. Good bars in town, a few taverna's, mostly full of Greeks giving it a a nice feel to the place.
