In a sunny spring or summer day you can spot many flamingos in the lagoons. Definitely worth a if passing , is abandoned and is to enter. We saw a bat inside and great from the fort. Castle Griva is a really interesting historical site with beautiful over the surrounding area. The ruins still carry a strong sense of history, and it’s a peaceful place to explore if you’re nearby. Just be prepared – the grass is quite overgrown, so sneakers and long pants are a must if you want to walk around comfortably. It’s not very big and there isn’t much signage, but the atmosphere and make it worth a visit. Dit oude fort lag op de route. We zijn gestopt en naar boven gewandeld. Er staan eigenlijk alleen nog oude muren en per toeval ontdekten we de toegang naar de binnenruimte. Via de deur, het is er donker maar toch kun je doorlopen daar. Boven heb je een magnifiek uitzicht. Het fort is niet bijgehouden of gerestaureerd. Het besef dat je rondloopt op een plek waar het vroeger levendig was is wel bijzonder. Als je er toch langsrijdt kun je gaan kijken zou ik zeggen.
