Jak na początek XX wieku była to bardzo zaawansowana technologicznie budowla - jedyna w kraju, która posiadała system centralnego ogrzewania, nowoczesną instalację wodną oraz wewnętrzną sieć telefoniczną. Te wszystkie "nowinki" wiązały się oczywiście z dodatkowymi, bardzo wysokimi wydatkami, co sprawiło, że finalny koszt budowy siedziby rządu wraz z wykończeniem, przekroczył całkowite dochody państwa w 1905 roku aż o 25%! Warto zrobić spacer wokół całego budynku, aby zobaczyć zarówno piękne, artystyczne wykończenia elewacji, z licznymi zdobieniami i malowidłami, balkon, ozdobny kartusz z rzeźbą lwa oraz szklane mozaiki. A very nice, clean, and minimalist square — surprisingly peaceful for the heart of the capital city. The parliament itself is modern but doesn’t clash with the surroundings.
