Clearly they take excellent care of it. Entry is free and free parking is nearby. There even a fire pit in it likely used by locals. Really enjoyed this and the setting. Sehenswert mit Restaurant in der Nähe OBERE BURG SCHELLENBERG:= A very old that is well maintained and well surrounded by beautiful green sceneries of big trees and walking trails. A nice place to meditate or roam around to find peace and order in mind after a stressful day :-) It's an old ruin, any time accessible, no tickets needed. There are tables and grills available for picnics if you like. Der Gelbmann ist ein Restaurant/Gasthaus in der Vorstadt und ein kulinarischer Besuch lohnt sich. Amazing place. is a very evocative ruin, the views are simultaneously fantastic, and the best bit? As members of the Scout Association, you can get a concession to camp here, right next to the castle, with toilets and fresh water on site. Simply perfect Just a small on a hill with a small suburb around it. It's a quick hike up and you have to go through part of the suburb to walk to it. Views are amazing, but we went early in the morning and with it's position I think it'd be better to see the surrounding mountains in the afternoon. Some angles were backlit and covered in clouds. Don't follow Google's directions to get there. There's no parking in the suburb. There IS free parking but it's across from a rec area. Navigate to that, not the ruins. Open air ruins. Has free public bathrooms. Mooie plek met prachtige uitzichten. Kostenloser Besuch - kein Eintritt notwendig. Sehr zu empfehlen! Ist wirklich ein schöner Ort, auch zum verweilen. Wir haben dort ein kleines „Picknick gemacht, UNO gespielt und die Sonne genossen. Es ist auch möglich, dort zu grillen, Holz ist auch vorhanden! :) , Gerade als Familie auch sehr schön.
