If you don’t like hiking & climbing avoid this beach, it is a 30 min way down and you need to have your hands free because there are places you need both of your hands to climb rocks, it is a bit dangerous but doable if you are slow and careful. I mean, this is nature, I doubt it will react to your feedback 😂 The is amazing with many activities to indulge in, but most of all — snorkelling and cliff jumping. There are many spots to jump from for both beginners and more experienced people. The trail itself is not easy but it's completely doable if you are in a physical condition. Climbing down is tricky due to the very steep, almost vertical parts so be extra careful to avoid falling. Climbing up is more chill in terms of risk, just make sure you have enough because it can be a bit exhausting. It takes around 30 minutes to reach the from the parking next to the monastery. ⚠️ The trail is NOT suitable for kids, dogs, or very short people. In conclusion: if you are in physical condition don't hesitate to visit Gyali beach. It's completely worth the few hundred calories burnt! If you take tennis shoes and water, the path will go very well. The last part may be slightly complicated for children or with limited mobility. There are ropes to help you get up and down. For me this was a perfect summer experience but don't go if you don't want climbing and hiking because it's hard to get down to the beach, there's no rope to hold to and don't wear flip flops. We left the car at the parking spot near the white church and then we continued around 20 min. down, at the beginning by a road, then passed by a nice view spot and then by climbing a bit to the beach.
